According to research from Nat West, going to university now costs £33,152 - almost as expensive as it was to buy a house just 20 years ago. But if you are about to go to university there are many schemes available to help. If your family’s income is £17,500 or less, you will be eligible for the Government’s full maintenance grant of £2,700 a year. If your parents earn more than £37,425, you’ll get nothing. If their earnings are somewhere in between, you will be eligible for help on a sliding scale. There are also a number of scholarships or non-governmental educational grants available.

Within the American University system sport has a very important role to play and unlike the United Kingdom it is the most used avenue to gain professional contracts, leading to a large financial commitment in the form of sports scholarship to talented athletes.
Soccer scholarships are available to gifted soccer players who also show they have the academic commitment. These scholarships are a means for students to receive up to 100% financial aid while gaining a college degree in a subject of their choice. Developing not only you’re sporting talent but providing you with a vocational qualification for life.
While on a Scholarship you will live and train like a professional player, training up to twice daily in a professional like environment, while competing in a highly competitive league structure.

Various stages of recruitment:
1. Initial assessment playing and educational (trial)

3. Research of programmes with student and consultant. Matching with Perspective College providing
information on mock sat papers.
4. Promote student to identified colleges. Through personal contact with coaches, Client and coach
communication. Confirming over of place. Review of offer
5. Decision making assistance to student
6. Assistance with Visa application
7. Orientations on arrival in the states.
8. Continuous back up for student over course of scholarship
9. Continuous assessment of soccer development that may lead to a recommendation to a professional club in the United States or Europe.
Fees:
One day trial £35.00 (payable upon booking)
Registration fee £250.00 (payable upon being offered a placement)
Scholarship fee £750.00 (payable upon completion of placement)
The average value of a three-year Scholarship received by our clients is in the region of $25,000 (£12,500) per year, which could be 100% funded.
(Note: registration fee is non refundable if a scholarship placement is not gained through the fault of the client. However if through the fault of Pro-Vision North West Limited, a scholarship placement is not gained then a full refund of the registration fee will be reimbursed to the client).
