Pro – Vision Football Academy
Pro-Vision North West was started in August 2007 and is the brainchild of ex Manchester United, Manchester City, Port Vale and former Bury FC Player Andy Hill who is the Managing Director. The Academy is also staffed with qualified, professional coaches that are in the main ex professional players.
The Academy’s main aim is to provide young players that have been released by professional clubs or missed by the talent scouts an opportunity to regain their confidence and get exposure to other professional clubs Nationally and Internationally.
Pro-Vision Academy North West is part of the organisation Global Academy Partnerships Limited, which manages Academies Globally for several investing Premier League and Football League clubs. It is the policy of the Academy to assist every player at the Academy to become associated with a Professional football Club, its Academy or Centre of Excellence.
As well as having the ability to place players at the investing professional football clubs Pro-Vision North West also plays showcase games throughout the season at many other Premier League and Football League clubs along with the ability to place players at virtually any club in the World through its association with established and reputable English F.A. Licensed Agents.
The Academy hold initial trials in August at various venues around the UK. Then continue to assess a steady stream of new trialist’s throughout the season at its academy training sessions.
Training is delivered two evenings a week for 14-16 year olds and 16-18 year olds. The 14-16 year old registered players are allowed to continue playing for their junior clubs whilst the 16-18 year old Manchester Academy players compete in the U18 North West Youth Alliance League.
The Academy also offers many other services in the form of school holiday coaching courses, coaching delivered in schools as part of the curriculum, before and or after school sessions etc.
